The Halloween Party Planner

A Complete Planning System for Guests, Budget, Food, Drinks, Decor, Entertainment & Party Day

Plan the whole party in one place instead of across notes, screenshots and half-remembered decisions. Work through the guest list and budget first, then food, drinks, decor and entertainment, then shopping, setup and the hour before the doorbell rings — with prompts that help you decide rather than blank checklists that leave you guessing.

What's inside

Nine sections, one party.

Party details, guests, budget, food, drinks, decor, entertainment, shopping and party day. Inside those you get a master guest list for up to 30 people, a guest mixing plan, budget allocation and a spending tracker, save-or-splurge pages, food and drink quantity planners, a menu builder and dietary check, a food reality check for fridge, oven and serving limits, make/buy/delegate planning, bar setup and refills, decor inventory and decor by zone, a space plan and party flow check, entertainment prep and activity pages, a master task list, shopping lists by store, countdown checklists from a month out to the final two hours, party-day timelines and delegated tasks, end-of-night and next-morning checklists, a Halloween inventory for next year and a what-worked review.

Decide, don't just tick boxes

The prompts ask the questions that actually shape an evening — who is coming, how well they know each other, what kind of atmosphere you want and what is worth spending on.

Keep the money visible

Budget allocation, a spending tracker and save-or-splurge pages sit next to the food, drinks and decor plans, so the small purchases stay connected to the total.

Protect party day

Countdown checklists, a party-day timeline and an hour-before plan mean the last hour is calm instead of the moment you start looking for the cocktail glasses.

What is the print edition like?

A 67-page paperback from Lulu, printed in full colour on US Letter pages (8.5 × 11 in). It is perfect bound, so it opens like a book rather than folding flat, and it is designed to be written in by hand.

What do I get with the digital edition?

The Google Play Books edition is the same planner as a printable colour PDF at US Letter size. It also contains a link and a QR code to download the interactive fillable version, included in the price at no extra cost.

Can I type into the planner instead of printing it?

Yes, but not inside Google Play Books. The interactive fillable edition is a separate file you download using the link or QR code inside the ebook, then open in a PDF reader.

Do the totals really calculate on their own?

In the interactive edition, budget totals and food and drink quantities calculate automatically in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free. Full calculation support needs the desktop app; the mobile app has more limited JavaScript support. In other PDF readers every field still works for manual entry.

How many guests does it hold?

The master guest list has room for up to 30 guests, with RSVPs, plus ones, dietary needs, contributions and notes.

Is it only for adults-only parties?

No. The entertainment and planning pages cover adults-only evenings, costume parties, family gatherings, movie nights, outdoor parties and games nights, so you can plan whichever kind you are actually hosting.

Where does the purchase actually happen?

On the retailer's own site. The print edition is handled by Lulu and the digital edition by Google Play Books, so payment, delivery and any refund are handled under their terms, not ours.
